Announcing the VCT APAC Last Chance Qualifier

  • Teams who have not qualified for Playoffs can still accumulate enough VCT Circuit points to qualify for the Last Chance Qualifier.
  • It will take place in 5 different groups of regions simultaneously namely North America (NA), Europe Middle East Africa (EMEA), Brazil/Latin America (BR/LATAM), Asia Pacific (APAC), and East Asia (EA)
  • It will be held on August 1-7.

While the 20 teams who have qualified for the VCT Challengers APAC Playoffs start to compete for a slot at Masters 2 in July, other teams who have not qualified for Playoffs can still have a chance to accumulate enough VCT Circuit points to qualify for Champions through the Last Chance Qualifier!

Last Chance Qualifier takes place in 5 different groups of regions simultaneously – North America (NA), Europe Middle East Africa (EMEA), Brazil/Latin America (BR/LATAM), Asia Pacific (APAC), and East Asia (EA).

The VCT APAC Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) will take place from 1-7 August. The event will provide the top 9 teams from Southeast Asia and South Asia that have accumulated the most Circuit points across Challengers and Masters and 1 team from Oceania with the opportunity to fight for one last seat at Champions, the end-of-the-year final where the VALORANT World Champion will be crowned!

Champions will take place in Istanbul, Turkey from 2-18 September. The event will feature the top 16 teams from around the world, including 3 representatives from the APAC region. Out of the 3 representatives the top 2 teams will have accumulated the most points across Challengers and Masters. The final team will earn the last slot through the APAC LCQ.

The 10 teams who qualify for APAC LCQ will be seeded into 2 brackets where they will fight through a series of double elimination matches. Teams will be seeded according to their VCT points positioning.

Teams who qualify for the APAC LCQ will be revealed closer to the date. So stay tuned, there is lots more to come!
